Thread binding
Thread binding is a process in which by stitching the pages together a complete product is assembled – a journal, a book, a luxury catalog… this type of assembly allows for constant flip throughs, giving it strength and a much longer life.
This service is often combined with thermal-bonding that strengthens the binding. Through it a solid or soft cover is attached to the product.
At GPTS we can boast one of the few machines in Bulgaria that can perform this service.
The maximum size in which it works is 460x460mm, and the minimum size is 150x100mm. The maximum speed is 50 cycles per minute thanks to its twelve groups of needles.
